Andy’s Bio

With very little to do for entertainment, Video Game Addiction is a serious condition that affects approximately 1 in 1 males who grow up in Northern Indiana. I was no exception, my dad would take my brother and I to Aladdin’s Castle or Putt-Putt Golf and we would spend countless hours playing everything from Commando to Zaxon and that’s where that special kind of crazy needed to become a video game collector first took root. As the years went by the games and systems changed, and playing Castlevania on My NES progressed to Lunar on the Sega C.D. then Fatal Fury on the NEO-GEO, Resident Evil on the PlayStation, and Disgaea on the PS2. The entire time my game collection expanded and expanded, starting with a single shelf, to a bookcase, to it’s current incarnation that includes 3 bookshelves, a media stand, several original NES game trays and 7 boxes in my closet. Having very little free space, I’m contemplating moving to a new location as opposed to re-organising my games (Ask Luke, my place looks like something out of an episode of Hoarders.)

I’d have more to write about but it seems I’ve spent the last 30 years just playing games and participating in other chucklefuckery. In all honesty I’m pretty OK with that. My personal tastes in gaming include tactical RPG’s, Fighting Games, and the odd side scroller.
